Gallery 52cc
THE AESTHETIC EVERYDAY
gallery 52cc presents a rotating curation of art, antiques, and objets.
shown through small, seasonal exhibitions and guided viewings across the loft, the programme explores the rich narratives embedded in everyday things, and considers how design and visual culture are best experienced as things to be lived with: part of the home and of the neighbourhood. each exhibition theme is animated by the converging histories, communities, and dynamics that make the 52cc neighbourhood such an enthralling corner of singapore today.
gallery 52cc also offers collectors a selection of singular antiques — art nouveau prints, handspun linen textiles, edo era porcelains, and the like — acquired over the years from markets and makers across the world. each piece’s patina and softened edges are signs of a long life lived, a celebration of the extraordinary luxury found in timeless, well-made goods. these antiques are available online.
